MWC2019: SIMCom brings Cat12 modules to boost high-speed application innovation
Between February 25-28, 2019, the Mobile World Congress 2019(MWC2019)was held in Barcelona, Spain. The MWC is one of the most influential communications exhibitions in the world, and SIMCom(a SUNSEA AIoT Company), along with a number of other communications enterprises, will attend this technology feast. SIMCom will bring a variety of IoT communication modules to the conference, including LTE-A high-speed modules, LPWA and LTE series, automotive grade modules, intelligent modules, as well as a large number of innovative IoT applications, which will await visitation in exhibition hall #1G40.
At this exhibition, SIMCom’s LTE-A Cat 12 module, the SIM7912E, was unveiled. This high-speed module supports multi-band LTE-FDD / LTE-TDD / HSPA + in an M.2 package (model No.3042-S3-B),as well as 256-QAM, 4×CA, 4×4 MIMO and other LTE-A Pro technologies, and has a maximum rate of 600 Mbps (DL)/150 Mbps (UL). The design of high-throughput data communication meets customers' requirements for high-speed grades.
The SIM7912E has better compatibility in the long-term evolution of products for customers. It is compatible with the Cat4, Cat6, and Cat9 SIMCom series modules (ie, the AT command of the SIM7912E is compatible with the SIM7500/SIM7600/SIM7906/SIM7909 series modules), and the future 5G modules are matched to meet customers' long-term evolution needs. for product rate grades. At the same time, these demands have reduced customers’ investment in products, and shortened the research and development cycle of products to market.
In addition, the SIM7912E also has powerful expansion capabilities and a diversified application interface, including UART, USB3.0, and GPIO, which makes the module easier to integrate, giving customers greater initiative in design flexibility. The SIM7912E covers the global frequency band, and the customer products can obtain the LTE-A network connection service. Its high-throughput design of data communication is suitable for many wireless communication applications. The unique features, as well as the combination of security and flexibility, meet the needs of IoT applications, such as laptops and mobile gateways, which have higher requirements for data transmission rates.
