SIM7000A Becomes the First AT&T Certified CAT M Module in China and SIMCom Strengthens North American Market Layout
On December 20, SIMCom’s Module SIM7000A passed the AT&T certification successfully and became the first AT&T certified CAT M module in China. The certification indicates that the SIM7000A can operate stably on the most reliable wireless network in the North American market, and that SIMCom’s customers can use this module to meet their related business needs from now on.
SIM7100A Module
SIM7000A is an SMT-packaged multi-frequency LTE-FDD(B2/B4/B12/B13) module that supports LTE CAT-M1 (eMTC). With the dimensions of 24*24*2.6mm and the weight of 3.0g, it makes its module package and AT command compatible with those of SIM900 and SIM800F, enabling customers’ terminal product designs to upgrade from 2G to CAT M smoothly. SIM7000A combines high performance, security and flexibility to provide ideal solutions for vertical applications of IoT and M2M, such as in-vehicle service, smart metering, asset tracking, remote monitoring, healthcare, mobile payment terminals and sharing economy. With Power Save Mode(PSM) and Extended Discontinuous Reception(eDRX), SIM7000A can extend battery life to 10 years.
